Job summary

Accord Healthcare is seeking a Training Specialist to design, deliver and coordinate operational training across shifts and units. You will become the SME for training in the packaging area and ensure regulatory and HSE compliance while supporting continuous improvement.

Role requires effective coaching, strong English communication, and the ability to develop development plans and training matrices. Competitive salary with bonus and pension, at Accord's expanding European operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering training in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed knowledge of packing hall areas to train staff at all levels.
  • Adopt effective training techniques and refresh media for different learners.
  • Create and maintain training skills matrices.
  • Plan training to achieve cross-trained operators across units.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, HSE and company procedures.
  • Coordinate training needs with Business Unit Leaders.
  • Deliver inductions for new starters and complete required paperwork.
  • Propose additional trainings (e.g., Excel) as needed.

The Role

Reporting to the Business Unit Lead you will design, deliver and coordinate training for operational teams across all shifts, business units and operational areas whilst ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory processes, HSE requirements and company procedures and policies. You will become the subject matter expert on all aspects related to operational training in your business unit.

Specific Job Responsibilities
  • Develop personal detailed knowledge of all areas within the packing hall to an advanced level to enable you to train staff at all levels on each line and are known as the SME.
  • Ensure effective training techniques are adopted and successfully delivered, refresh training media to suit all learning styles
  • Creation and maintenance of functional, effective, standardized training skills matrices.
  • Effective training plans to support the goal of fully cross trained operators across business units/operations. Ownership of all aspects of FMD operation across operations to ensure efficient, compliant adherence to pharmaceutical standards in accordance with relevant SOP’s specified guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory processes, HSE requirements and company procedures and policies.
  • Responsible for data trending, analysis and continuous improvement for all aspects related to training.
  • Apply strong coaching and training skills, and adapt these to suit all learning styles
  • Coordinate the training needs and availability of staff for training with the Business Unit Leaders
  • Ensure always that the training plans incorporate both current and future needs.
  • Support continuous improvement process and ensures successful implementation of agreed changes by ensuring appropriate training of operators.
  • Deliver induction for new starters
  • Incorporate the completion of required paperwork in to all training regimes.
  • Propose non-line training (e.g. Excel) as required for review with the operations management team and HR.
  • Create personal development plan to ensure knowledge is gained, retained and refreshed in line with changing environment.
  • Promotes can- do behaviours, teamwork, motivates, coaches and supports the team to be effective and positive.
The Person
  • Good level of experience in a commercial environment working to targets and working in teams
  • Ideally experienced in a similar role
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to identify improvements and communicate the case for change clearly
