We are seeking an experienced pharmaceutical commercial leader to drive the next phase of growth for a differentiated specialty pain brand with significant untapped potential across complex healthcare systems and specialist pathways.

This is a highly visible leadership role with full P&L accountability across the cluster and responsibility for leading cross-functional teams spanning Sales, Market Access, Marketing and Medical.

The business has already built strong foundations, including:

  • A differentiated product with strong clinical value
  • Established specialist adoption across priority accounts
  • Stable and experienced commercial teams
  • Significant growth opportunity across the cluster
  • Strong commitment and investment from international leadership

The next phase is focused on accelerating execution, strengthening account excellence and driving greater consistency, focus and accountability across the commercial organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full P&L ownership across UK, Ireland & Nordics
  • Lead and develop cross-functional commercial teams
  • Drive execution across priority healthcare accounts and pathways
  • Deliver ambitious sales and growth targets
  • Strengthen account management capability and field effectiveness
  • Ensure strong alignment across Sales, Market Access, Marketing and Medical
  • Shape commercial strategy across complex healthcare systems
  • Create a high-performance culture centred around accountability, pace and delivery

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Proven pharmaceutical business unit leadership or senior commercial leadership experience
  • Experience leading both Sales and Marketing functions within a pharmaceutical business
  • Strong sales leadership and execution capability
  • Experience leading account-based commercial models
  • Deep understanding of NHS and/or complex healthcare system dynamics
  • Market access and stakeholder engagement experience
  • A track record of improving performance within established teams and complex environments
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing capability
  • Experience operating across multiple markets or within matrix organisations

This role requires an established pharmaceutical leader who combines commercial oversight with operational execution and has experience delivering business performance through both Sales and Marketing organisations.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a high-potential growth business with significant visibility, autonomy and long-term career opportunity within an ambitious international organisation.
