Job summary

Holly Lodge High School College of Science is seeking a Teacher of Business to deliver business lessons to secondary students and to run a form group. The role focuses on knowledge-rich teaching, planned progression, and supportive pastoral care for form tutors.

Qualifications

• Good honours degree in a relevant secondary subject.
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience handling day-to-day classroom issues.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection, including DSL role.
• Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Teach business to secondary students with lesson planning and checks for understanding.
• Act as form tutor, providing pastoral care and personal development.
• Use assessment data to inform teaching and planning.
