TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Mansfield, seeking a part-time Business Teacher for 2 days per week on a long-term contract starting September 2026.

The successful candidate will teach across KS4 and KS5, including GCSE and A-Level exam preparation, and will implement the school’s learning schemes. QTS or a relevant teaching qualification with Business specialism is required (ECTs welcomed).

Job description

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Mansfield, just outside the town centre. The school is well-known in the area and has a good reputation.

The school is looking to take on a Business Teacher on a part-time basis for 2 days per week on a long-term contract starting in September 2026 after the summer break. This is a vacancy and as such a permanent role could be available for the right applicant from September 2026 or January 2027.

The successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, including exam preparation for GCSEs and A-Levels. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

The successful Business Teacher will have:

• QTS or relevant Teaching Qualification with Business specialism (ECTs are also welcomed)
• Experience teaching Business up to Key Stage 5
