A prominent business in the North West seeks a Lead Systems Engineer / Business Systems Change Analyst. This role, based in Preston, involves leading a team, managing change requests for Work & Asset Management Systems, and requires expertise in low code solutions like Power BI. We are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer / Business Systems Change Analyst with experience in Work & Asset Management Systems to join a prominent business in the North West. The role offers up to £72K plus bonus and benefits.
Note: This position requires being onsite 3 days a week in Blackburn / Preston, with occasional travel to other locations. A full driving license is advantageous due to limited transport links.
The successful candidate will lead a team of 3, managing continuous change requests and configurations for an enterprise-scale Work and Asset Management System. Responsibilities include designing and implementing IT system changes, requiring deep technical and business process knowledge.
Experience with Low Code Apps such as Power BI and Power Apps is highly desirable.
The role involves a mix of technical expertise in Management Software Solutions (preferably Work & Asset Management), change management, team and stakeholder management, and low code solutions like Power BI.
Experience with other Asset Management Systems or Workforce Solutions will be beneficial. Candidates with backgrounds as Systems Engineers, Technical Business Analysts, Testers, Application Support, or Developers interested in requirements gathering and low code solutions are encouraged to apply.
The role is roughly split 50% between team leadership and stakeholder management, and 50% hands-on design and delivery of WAM IT Systems.
An Agile environment experience, including Kanban and traditional methodologies, as well as an understanding of API-driven enterprise systems, will be valuable.
Core experience with Work & Asset Management Systems, engaging with multiple stakeholders, managing change requests, and ongoing delivery, is essential.
