Position:

BCHA is looking to recruit a talented candidate as a Business Support Officer. The role-holder will assist the Head of Strategy & Governance to provide high quality support to the Organisation, its Board and Executive Team, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and policy matters.

Key features of the role include:

  • supporting the Board, its subcommittees and other Forums to govern the organisation effectively
  • leading on the drafting, review and distribution of corporate policies and similar
  • participating in multi-disciplinary projects to develop, improve or implement corporate systems, processes or services
  • administering company insurances
  • being a competent resource for handling a range of queries from colleagues on the above

Your Skills

If you are a confident, capable individual comfortable with strong administrative and analytical skills and want to further your career in corporate governance, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to make sense of written and numerical information
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good collaboration and facilitation skills
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of people: customers, colleagues, senior managers and board, external agencies.
