We are seeking dedicated and highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Business Support Officer. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, office-based environment, supporting face-to-face child protection conferences.
The Role:
You will work closely with the child protection chair to ensure they have the necessary information to effectively chair the meeting. You will provide support to facilitate the smooth running of the conference.
The minutes are vital legal records and must be clear, precise, and timely. You will be responsible for accurately recording discussions and capturing any agreed actions made during child protection conferences.
Prior to the conference, you will ensure professional reports are distributed to participants and uploaded onto systems. After the conference, you will ensure the minutes and decisions are distributed to all attendees within statutory timescales.

You must have experience producing clear, concise, and accurate minutes with strong writing skills.
You will provide comprehensive, professional, and proactive administrative support to our Children’s Social Care Assessment team. Your ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines is vital.
