Job summary

Do you have a background in administrative support? Are you looking for an opportunity to progress and learn more about corporate governance in a high-performing team?

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized administrator to join our Chief Executive's Office team. In this role, you'll provide business, project, and administrative support across a portfolio of corporate meetings and governance functions that oversee our organizational operations.

Delivering safe, high-quality care across our hospitals depends on strong corporate governance, ensuring decisions are properly overseen, accountable, and in the best interests of patients.

As part of the Chief Executive's Office, you'll collaborate with senior leaders and teams managing the Trust's corporate and strategic development, including special projects.

Main duties of the job

Supporting the team to deliver high-standard secretarial services, you'll assist with administrative tasks related to meetings serviced by the Chief Executive's Office, including the Board of Directors and Committees. Responsibilities include preparing agendas, templates, drafts of documents, emails, reports, presentations, and supporting project-related administrative activities, research, and benchmarking.

Education and Qualifications

  • GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent

Experience

  • Experience in an administrative/support role

Desirable

  • Experience with electronic filing systems
  • Responding to routine and complex queries
  • Organizing meetings or events

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Forms)
  • Excellent organizational skills, including diary management
