Job Description
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the department.
- Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of information.
- Update and maintain the ChildView system.
- Support Youth Justice Service workers to update systems in line with KPI recording requirements.
- Maintain files and record systems, including scanning and uploading documents.
- Ensuring all allocated tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
- Respond to enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare reports and presentations as directed by the team.
- Support team members with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Business Support Officer should have:
- Experience in a secretarial or business support role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
- Experience of Childview / YJS systems would be advantageous.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
