We have multiple exciting opportunities for Business Support Officers across the organization. Our Business Support Officers support the successful planning and delivery of business-as-usual projects and programmes. Bringing strong organizational and facilitation skills, along with excellent communication, you will play a key role in supporting Skills for Care in fulfilling our role of supporting people working in social care.
The Business Support Officer acts as a link between our National Leads and the rest of the organization, ensuring that projects are planned, communicated, and delivered successfully. You will support the delivery of various projects by providing professional project support to National Leads, Programme Heads, and Heads of Departments to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
The Workforce Delivery Team oversees a broad and evolving portfolio supporting key areas across adult social care, including delegated healthcare activities, commissioning and workforce planning, prevention, and reform related to the Mental Health Act. The team also manages oversight for individual employers and personal assistants, including the management of the Individual Employer and User-Led Organisation Development Fund.
Candidates should demonstrate experience in a similar role, with examples showcasing effective organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to see the bigger picture are vital, as Business Support Officers highlight cross-cutting themes and make recommendations for efficient cross-organizational working. Strong negotiation and influencing skills, along with the ability to build relationships quickly with team members and stakeholders, are essential.
