NHS Supply Chain is seeking a Business Support Coordinator to join the Clinical Directorate - CEO Office. This hybrid role involves two days in the office and monthly leadership meetings, supporting the Clinical Executive Director and leadership team with coordination, onboarding, communications, and financial processes.
You will manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings and events, maintain records, and handle confidential information with discretion.
The Clinical Directorate Business Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Clinical Directorate. Working closely with the Clinical Executive Director and wider leadership team, you will provide high-quality coordination, administrative and operational support that enables strategic priorities to be delivered effectively.
As the central point of contact across the directorate and wider clinical community, you will bring structure, organisation and efficiency to a fast-paced environment. From managing complex diaries and coordinating meetings and events, to supporting onboarding, communications, financial processes and workforce activities, you will ensure colleagues have the support they need to succeed.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and creating positive experiences for colleagues and stakeholders. You will play an important role in maintaining professional standards, driving continuous improvement and ensuring that everything the directorate delivers reflects our values and behaviours.
We want to reward you for your passion, enthusiasm, and hard work so we offer much more than a competitive salary:
Our role is to support the NHS to save lives and improve health. We are a part of the NHS family, and our role is to source, deliver and supply healthcare products, services and food for NHS trusts and healthcare organisations across England and Wales.
We serve every NHS Trust and operate a national network of distribution centres, managing relationships with more than a thousand suppliers and delivering more than 8,000,000 orders each year to more than 17,000 locations. Doing all of this on behalf of the NHS gives NHS staff more time to focus on their main priority of providing excellent patient care.
At NHS Supply Chain, we are committed to building an inclusive environment where difference is not only valued, but celebrated, giving everyone the opportunity to thrive in their career. Developing our people is key to our success, so if this role sounds like the right next step in your career but your experience doesn’t match perfectly with the job advert, we encourage you to still apply.
