NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide a range of services including hospital, primary, community, and mental health care to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.
This is a fixed-term, part-time position until 31/03/2026, with a shift pattern including one evening shift at Easterhouse or Pollok Health Centre from 17:45 to 21:30, and remaining hours by agreement at Gartnavel Royal Hospital.
The 18.5-hour post will support the Youth Health Service and related programs by managing referrals, administering appointments, managing waiting lists and inquiries, liaising with clinical staff, and collating performance data.
Experience with systems such as Microsoft Office, CHI, EMIS WEB, PIMS, SCI Store, SCI Gateway, Clinical Portal, Care First, SSTS, EESS, FM First, etc., is desirable. Experience working with young people and strong planning, organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are important.
The core team is based at Gartnavel Royal Hospital, but services are delivered across various locations in the city.
