Job summary

Monarch Education are recruiting a skilled Business Studies Teacher for a thriving secondary school in the Birmingham area. You will teach Business Studies across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and Deliver Travel & Tourism to secondary students on a full-time, long-term temporary basis.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, strong classroom management, and a commitment to raising student achievement. Immediate start with competitive daily rates and comprehensive safeguarding training provided.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5.
• Experience teaching Travel & Tourism preferred.
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Effective communicator with excellent organisational skills.

Monarch Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school in the Birmingham area for a talented and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join their team immediately on a full-time, long-term temporary basis for an initial one-term assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5, alongside teaching Travel & Tourism. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a strong understanding of the business world while supporting them to achieve their academic potential.

The Role:

• Teaching Business Studies across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Delivering Travel & Tourism lessons to secondary-aged students.
• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Contributing to the wider life of the department and school.

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5.

Salary: £165-£262 per day (Dependent on experience)
