Job summary

TeacherActive Limited in Darlington is recruiting a part-time Business Studies Teacher to start in November for a long-term role. You will plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across KS4/KS5 and provide ICT PPA cover for KS3/KS4, ensuring strong classroom management and continuity of learning.

The school serves KS3 to KS5 students; the role offers market-leading rates and ongoing CPD through My-Progression, with a dedicated consultant support team available 24/7.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs welcome).
• Experience delivering Business Studies to KS4 / KS5.
• Ability to deliver ICT lessons across KS3/KS4.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum and exam requirements.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Job Title: Business Studies Teacher

Start Date: November

Salary: £165 - £220 per day

Do you have strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential?

Are you adaptable and confident delivering ICT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school and sixth form based in Darlington, who are looking to appoint a Business Studies Teacher. The school provides education to students across KS3, KS4 and KS5, offering the opportunity to teach within both secondary and post-16 education.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Business Studies Teacher from November on a part-time, long-term basis. The successful Business Studies Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Business Studies lessons across KS4 and KS5, alongside providing ICT PPA cover across KS3 and KS4, ensuring effective classroom management and continuity of learning.

The successful Business Studies Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Business Studies across Key Stage 4 / KS4 and Key Stage 5 / KS5
• Confidence and subject knowledge to deliver ICT lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum and relevant examination requirements
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A flexible, adaptable approach with a passion for supporting student progress
