Teaching Personnel is working closely with a forward-thinking secondary school in Folkestone to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator to join a supportive department and inspire students to engage with the world of business and enterprise.
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (GCSE and A-Level). The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting economic awareness, entrepreneurial thinking, and real-world business skills.
Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons that support excellent student outcomes.
Teach a range of business-related topics, including marketing, finance, management, and entrepreneurship.
Assess and monitor student progress in line with school and exam board requirements.
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) with UK QTS is essential.
A degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
Experience teaching Business at GCSE and ideally A-Level.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make content relevant and accessible.
A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
