Job summary

Outwood Academy Adwick in Doncaster is seeking a passionate Teacher of Business Studies to lead delivery across Key Stages 3 to 5 and to help implement the transition to T Level provisions from September 2027.

This role welcomes both full- and part-time applicants. The successful candidate will develop engaging lessons, support curriculum development within the IT & Business department, and contribute to improving student outcomes, in line with the Trust's 'Students First' ethos.

About The Department

Our ICT & Business Department is dynamic and forward-thinking, comprising a Head of Department and three experienced teachers, delivering Enterprise, IT, and Computer Science. At Key Stage 4, students follow the OCR Computer Science specification, and at Key Stage 5 the department is focussed on delivering the very best T-Levels. The department is integral to our students' development, nurturing their technological skills and preparing them for future career pathways. In Computing and IT the department is also supported by a Trust Director who plays a pivotal role in the reduction of workload through marking and feedback throughout the trust.

The Role

As a Teacher of Business, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5, inspiring students to develop a love for technology and problem-solving.
• Contribute to a broad and balanced curriculum.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department and Senior Leadership Team, to drive achievement and raise standards in the department.
• Support initiatives to increase the uptake of Business at KS4 and KS5.
