Business Service Manager - Technology CSC - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ
Salary: Starting at £53,459, including allowances totaling £2,928. Breakdown: £50,531 basic salary (increasing annually up to £55,103), location allowance of £1,928, and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.
Location: Birmingham
Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) relies on high-performing individuals. As a Business Service Manager, you will manage service level agreements, operational agreements, and underpinning contracts to ensure high-quality services supporting CTP's mission to keep the country safe. Join our team to help protect the UK.
You will work at the Customer Service Centre (CSC), providing national IT services for CTP, collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure service level agreements are met.
Your daily tasks include monitoring and managing services, producing management reports, tracking service levels, conducting service reviews, and liaising with stakeholders to identify improvements.
Required experience includes ITIL service management processes such as Service Level Management, Supplier Management, Service Reporting, Change Management, and Problem Management. You should be comfortable making decisions in a busy service environment.
Technical knowledge should include IT hardware, Cisco and Microsoft technologies, data centre management, and infrastructure monitoring tools. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
