Expedia Group is seeking a Project Planning & Delivery Lead to oversee end-to-end delivery of complex cross-functional projects across Product & Technology, Commercial, and Operations. You will build detailed plans, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers to ensure on-time delivery.

This role requires 5+ years of project or programme management in fast-paced environments, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to drive governance and process improvements that unlock business value.

Formación

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, programme management, operations, business transformation, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including planning, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with high quality delivery.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to drive complex programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across seniority levels.
  • Experience developing executive-ready updates and status reports.
  • PM certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) advantageous but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex cross-functional projects, ensuring successful execution against agreed timelines, scope, and objectives. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, workstreams, dependencies, and resource requirements. Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies to minimise delivery challenges. Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of blockers. Drive accountability across teams to ensure delivery commitments are met and project outcomes are achieved. Stakeholder Coordination & Governance Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product & Technology, Commercial, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholder groups. Establish and manage project governance frameworks, reporting processes, and decision-making forums. Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, workshops, and working sessions to ensure alignment and momentum. Build strong relationships across the organisation, fostering collaboration and effective stakeholder engagement. Provide clear and concise project updates, risks, decisions, and recommendations to leadership teams. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence Drive consistent project management methodologies, tools, and best practices across the SPA organisation. Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, ways of working, and cross-functional collaboration. Support change management, communication, and adoption activities to ensure successful implementation of project outcomes. Track project benefits and outcomes, ensuring initiatives deliver the expected business value.

Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, programme management, operations, business transformation, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including planning, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities while maintaining high quality delivery.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to structure and drive complex programmes of work.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and levels of seniority.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting plans as business priorities evolve.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
  • Experience developing executive-ready project updates, presentations, and status reporting.
  • Highly organised, results-oriented, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience in technology, marketplace, or high-growth business environments preferred.
  • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) is advantageous but not required.
