Job summary

The City of Liverpool College is seeking a highly qualified lecturer to teach MGL Business and Professional Development to 16–18-year-olds within the School of Business and Professional Services. You will contribute to live projects with local businesses and strengthen links with higher education partners.

The role requires a degree, a recognised teaching qualification, and extensive experience in business education.

Qualifications

Educated to Level 6 or equivalent in a related subject area.
A recognised teaching qualification is essential.
Recent experience teaching 16–18-year-olds in a further education setting.
Professional qualification relevant to business disciplines.
Excellent IT literacy and ability to use college IT systems.

Responsibilities

Deliver high quality lessons in Business qualifications up to Level 3 and T Level.
Plan, prepare and assess learners in line with college policies.
Track progress and attendance; provide constructive feedback.
Engage with external partners and live projects with local businesses.
Collaborate with Head of School to develop curriculum and improve standards.
Participate in CPD and contribute to school enhancement initiatives.
