Job summary

A renowned IT Consultancy is seeking a Business Process Specialist for an initial 3-month contract in London. The successful candidate will focus on process optimisation within the underwriting department of a global insurance provider. This role requires experience in P&C insurance and management of project timelines to enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Work experience in P&C Insurance in Quote-to-bind process.
  • Experience with operating models end to end.
  • Worked within On/Offshore environments.

We are working with a renowned IT Consultancy service provider who seeks Business Process Specialist on a contractual basis.

In this role, you will be seconded to working with a globally established insurance provider within their P&C department.

The ideal candidate will be capable of:

  • Identifying process optimisation opportunities in Underwriting
  • Engage with Onshore underwriting teams for support activities, including BPO
  • Produce an operating model of on/offshore supporting non-UW activities
  • Comprehension of non-UW team activities which can be handed over to operations teams
  • Establish the resourcing model of UW support services spearheaded by on/offshore operations teams by producing and tracking project timelines efficiently
  • Ensuring benefit and prioritisation frameworks align to gathered requirements
  • Utilising well-regarding improvement methodologies to drive process optimisation
  • Creating the right collateral when required, e.g. As-Is & To-Be process map, RACI, Charter etc
  • Ensuring optimised process controls are in place to create sustainability
  • Stakeholder engagement and management.

Required:

  • Work experience in P&C Insurance in Quote-to-bind process previously
  • Experience with operating models end to end
  • Worked within an underwriting capacity
  • Worked within On/Offshore environments
  • Full UK right to work without restriction (no sponsorship provided)
