POSITION TITLE: Business Process Manager (BPM)

LOCATION: Watford

DEPARTMENT: Systems

WORKING HOURS: 9am – 6pm

SALARY: Dependent on experience

REPORTS TO: Group COO

15 Months' Fixed-Term Contract - Maternity Cover

ABOUT ES BROADCAST

ES Broadcast is a leading provider of equipment sales, equipment rental and systems integration services to the professional broadcast industry, as well as live events, esports, corporate and government sectors. The company is part of the ES Media Group, which also includes divisions in the cinema equipment rental (Film Store Rental) and library migration and content services (Memnon/LMH) industries. The HR function provides services to all companies across the ES Media Group in UK, Europe, New Zealand and USA.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Business Process Manager plays a crucial role in improving, optimising and managing the growing portfolio of Business Systems and the processes used within the Group; to enhance efficiency and ensure systems are optimised. This role will support internal users of Salesforce, Rootstock and Certinia, as well as overseeing the implementation of new systems ensuring these tools align with ES Media Group’s goals, and drive towards continuous improvements to ensure the organisation remains competitive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry.

DUTIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Work closely with the leadership team to create long-term strategies for process improvement and oversee the execution of large-scale improvement projects
  2. Continuously evaluate and refine workflows to improve operational efficiency and ensure processes are optimised
  3. Lead process mapping workshops with key stakeholders to optimise workflows
  4. Establish and implement best practices for standardising processes across departments
  5. Identify and manage risks related to process changes, ensuring best practices and standards are followed
  6. Collect and analyse data to measure the effectiveness of business processes, regularly creating reports on process performance, and identifying areas for improvement, and present findings to senior management
  7. Provide training and ongoing support to staff on new processes and best practices
  8. Use tools like flowcharts and diagrams to represent workflows and processes visually, helping teams understand the flow of work and responsibilities
  9. Lead cross-functional teams in driving continuous process improvement initiatives, ensuring project goals are met within deadlines and budgets; whilst aligning with business objectives
  10. Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation to ensure clear communication of workflows across teams
  11. Collaborate with teams across the organisation to address issues as they arise and liaise with third-party vendors to resolve them

SKILLS REQUIRED

  1. 2+ years’ experience with CRM, ERP and Finance systems. Experience with Salesforce, Rootstock and Certinia is an advantage but not essential
  2. Minimum 3+ years proven track record of implementing successful process improvement initiatives
  3. PRINCE2 / Lean Six Sigma with demonstrated improvement experience (desirable)
  4. Advanced in MS Excel (Formulas, Lookup Functions, Macros, Pivots, Visual Basic, Data Validation)
  5. Advanced in MS Word – Know how to use the developer tab to customise templates
  6. Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  7. Able to manage change effectively, ensuring that process changes are implemented smoothly and successfully
  8. Great eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude
  9. Excellent and efficient translator between user needs and Business System instances in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  10. Able to work independently and collaboratively with people on projects
  11. Passionate and keen to learn and get to the root of a problem
  12. Experience of working within the broadcast industry an advantage but not essential
