Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Process/Business Analyst to join a large-scale transformation programme with a leading UK Energy company. This is a critical role focused on analysing, designing, and optimising business processes to support operational efficiency and strategic change across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and map existing business processes across key functions.
• Critically assess current processes to identify inefficiencies or improvement opportunities.
• Design and implement new, fit-for-purpose business processes aligned with transformation goals.
• Develop process documentation, including process maps, SOPs, and supporting artefacts.
• Create and maintain RACI matrices for newly designed and existing processes.
• Define key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate process effectiveness.
• Suggest and implement improved or more relevant metrics where appropriate.
• Identify automation opportunities, including areas that could benefit from AI-driven solutions.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and validate process changes.

Experience & Skills Required

• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale transformation programmes, ideally in complex or regulated environments.
• Proven ability to engage senior leadership and stakeholders.
• End-to-end experience performing all key activities listed above.
• Proficient in process mapping tools such as ARIS, Visio, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Agile and reactive delivery environments.

• Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complexity and tailor messaging for different audiences.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with confidence in navigating ambiguity.
• Highly proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
