Job summary

North Lincolnshire Council is seeking a dedicated Business Partner Audit to support the Lead Officer Audit in delivering the audit plan. You will work with senior management to plan audits, deliver complex assignments, and help improve controls and reduce risks across the organisation.

The role requires experience in audit or finance and an aptitude for supporting team members. Flexible working is considered; closing date is 30 August 2026 with interviews on 14 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in Audit or related finance field, and experience supporting team members.

• Assist Lead Officer Audit and other team members in planning and delivering audits to Global Internal Audit Standards.

We are currently seeking a dedicated, motivated and innovative Business Partner Audit. This is an exciting opportunity to continue to shape our audit service. We have made a number of recruitments in recent years as we continue to grow our team.

The role will support the Lead Officer Audit in their role to deliver the audit plan. Supporting other members of the team to complete their audits to Global Internal Audit Standards and in line with local performance measures and carrying out more complex audits.

The successful candidate will have some experience in Audit or similar finance related field and some experience in supporting team members. You will liaise with senior management in planning and delivery of assignments. You will be able to undertake complex audits whilst supporting the team to deliver their projects aimed at improving controls, reducing risks and adding value across the organisation.
