Job summary

Vertage is seeking a Recruitment Business Partner to join a close-knit team supporting a major client in facilities management and construction. You will act as the link between the client, our delivery teams, and supply partners, managing vacancies and governance across the life cycle.

You will travel to client sites across the UK, maintaining strong relationships, advising on market trends, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end recruitment process while working in a hybrid setup with 37.5 hours per

Qualifications

• Experience in MSP or contingent workforce recruitment, CIS exposure.
• Confident communicator with gravitas; able to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
• Solutions-focused mindset; able to sell ideas and manage multiple priorities.
• Solid grasp of compliance and governance.
• Patient, caring and passionate about clients, candidates and colleagues.
• Organised with a sharp eye for detail and good IT skills.
• Willing to travel across the UK and hold a full UK driving licence with access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Triaging vacancies to the right internal delivery teams and monitoring each one through its full life cycle.
• Managing the supply chain and external supply partners, briefing them and monitoring performance.
• Building strong relationships with hiring managers and client stakeholders; offering recruitment advice and market insight.
• Keeping clients and candidates engaged and informed throughout the process.
• Managing compliance and governance requirements across assignments.
• Taking detailed vacancy briefings and producing accurate management information for the client.
• Representing the team at stakeholder meetings and workshops on site across the UK.
• Collaborating with sourcing and talent attraction teams to deliver quality shortlists and smooth offers.
• Working within a small supportive team and covering for each other.
• Hybrid work arrangement: based near you, with home setup and travel to client sites across the UK.

About the role

Vertage is looking for a Business Partner to join a friendly, close-knit team supporting a major client in the facilities management and construction space. This is a customer-facing role where you'll be the link between the client, our internal delivery teams, and our external supply partners.

What you'll be doing

• Triaging vacancies to the right internal delivery teams and monitoring each one through its full life cycle

• Managing the supply chain and external supply partners, including briefing them and keeping an eye on performance

• Building strong relationships with hiring managers and client stakeholders, offering recruitment advice, market insight and guidance on routes to market

• Keeping clients and candidates engaged and informed throughout the process

• Managing compliance and ensuring governance requirements are always met

• Taking detailed vacancy briefings and producing accurate management information for the client

• Representing the team at stakeholder meetings and workshops on site throughout the UK

• Working closely with our sourcing and talent attraction colleagues to deliver quality shortlists and a smooth offer and onboarding experience

• Working within a supportive small team and covering for each other

• You will be hybrid into one of our offices closest to you, working from home and regularly travelling to client sites across the UK

About you
