Job summary

Synthires is seeking a remote Business Operations Expert to evaluate and enhance AI-driven operational benchmarks. You will translate real-world workflows into structured tasks, define grading criteria, and produce supporting materials to enable precise evaluation.

Required are 5+ years in business operations, strong Excel skills, and excellent written/verbal English (B2+). This is a fully remote contractor role with approx. 10 hours per task.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in business operations, operations reporting, process design, or workflow management.
• Direct ownership of operational processes rather than supervisory-only or adjacent experience.
• Experience creating or applying structured standards (SOPs, QA checklists, process documentation, SLAs, or training assessments).
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze information across multiple documents.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with B2 proficiency minimum and C1 preferred.

About the Opportunity

micro1 is engaging experienced business operations professionals to help evaluate and improve advanced AI systems. In this role, you will apply your expertise in business operations, process design, workflow management, and operational reporting to create realistic tasks that assess AI systems' capabilities.

You will transform real-world operational workflows into structured benchmark tasks with clear instructions, supporting materials, and objective grading criteria. Your experience creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality assurance (QA) checklists, and process documentation will help ensure that AI-generated outputs can be evaluated accurately and consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Design realistic, multi-step tasks based on real-world business operations, including reporting, process design, and workflow management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience preparing realistic reference materials and documentation for complex, multi‑step workflows.
• Previous experience with AI evaluation or large language model (LLM) assessment is beneficial but not required.
