Job summary

Meta's Infrastructure organization seeks a Staff-level Business Operations professional to act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, driving planning, reviews, and process improvements across the Network, Infrastructure Security, and Capacity Ecosystems teams.

You will leverage data analytics, AI tools, and cross-functional collaboration to help these teams grow, scale, and operate effectively in a complex, technical environment.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, program management, or a related function supporting large-scale technical or infrastructure organizations.
  • Experience leading strategic planning processes including goal-setting frameworks, resource planning, and executive business reviews in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Experience applying quantitative and analytical methods to solve business problems, including financial modeling, data analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Experience defining and executing plans in environments with evolving priorities and incomplete information, including scoping projects, identifying dependencies, and adapting plans based on new data.
  • Experience communicating complex operational and strategic topics in writing to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working within or directly supporting infrastructure, network, security, or capacity planning engineering organizations.
  • Experience querying and analyzing data using SQL or similar tools to generate business insights and support operational decision-making.
  • Experience integrating AI tools to optimize or redesign operational workflows and drive measurable efficiency or quality improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements).
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies.
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to shape strategy, goals, and resource planning for Infrastructure organizations.
  • Lead executive reviews, OKR tracking, and performance dashboards to drive alignment and accountability.
  • Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured, actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate across networks, security, and capacity planning teams to optimize operations and scale.
  • Apply data analytics and AI-enabled process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.

Meta's Infrastructure organization builds and operates the foundational systems that power our global products and services. Within Infrastructure, the Network, Infrastructure Security, and Supply Planning and Capacity Ecosystems organizations are critical to ensuring our global infrastructure is connected, secure, and that capacity is delivered and efficiently managed.

As a Staff-level Business Operations professional supporting these organizations, you will serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders, helping them grow, scale, and run the business effectively. You will drive strategic initiatives spanning business planning, objectives and key results frameworks, operational reviews, and process improvements that enable our infrastructure teams to execute and innovate at scale.
