GSK invites applications for a 1-year Industrial Placement at the Barnard Castle site. The programme targets undergraduates 2+ years into their degree, enrolled at a UK or ROI university, with a focus on politics, English, marketing or similar.

Start is July 2027, duration 12 months, on-site, with a salary of £26,400 plus bonus. Applicants must be fluent in English, and the placement requires full-time on-site work with learning across Operations, Lab, Engineering and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at a UK or ROI university for the duration of the placement.
• Minimum of 2 years of undergraduate study and not graduated at start.
• English language fluency (written and spoken).
• Degree fields: Politics, English, Marketing or similar.

Responsabilités

• Support day-to-day operations at a large manufacturing site.
• Work within continuous improvement teams (GPS) using LEAN/6-Sigma methodologies.
• Engage with Operations, Laboratory, Engineering and Supply Chain colleagues.
• Contribute to a real project with tangible impact and learn from peers.
