Qualifications

• Experience in building and motivating teams.
• Ability to provide data and analytical insights to inform business decisions.
• Experience in managing a Marine Office or similar organizational area is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead on business-related S&I matters within the Marine Office and contribute to national targets.
• Line-manage Business Support staff, identify development needs, and set objectives.
• Co‑ordinate Marine Office management meetings and drive cultural change to meet agency objectives.
• Provide industry and public with advice in line with MCA policies and deliver first-class S&I service.
• Produce monthly management information reports with trends, forecasts and risk insights.
• Plan and manage surveyor resources and workloads to meet annual commitments and SLAs.
