Business Manager - Innovative Beauty Brand - Manchester

One of our fabulous innovative beauty brand clients, is seeking an experienced Business Manager to work on the counter in Manchester, managing staff and really helping the brand to grow. The brand has had exponential growth and it is a very exciting time to join the company. This role will lead the management, training and development of the team and prioritising client relationships and experiences in all the initiatives that they implement.

The Business Manager will be based in Manchester. This role will expect the candidate to play an instrumental role in bringing the brand to life not only for customers but employees also.

Duties will include - driving sales objectives, delivering exceptional customer service and carrying out the management's strategic vision whilst maintaining the highest standards for the brand and customer journey.

Main Responsibilities:

OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience that resonates with their customers and community.
  • Implement and uphold the brand's retail standards and practices that drive operational effciency and brand consistency.
  • Analyse sales data and customer feedback to inform strategies that enhance store performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with retailers and stakeholders to enhance the brand's retail presence
  • Sales and Performance Management
  • Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategic initiatives to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Collaborate with the team to set individual and collective sales goals
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stock team to ensure optimal product availability
  • Customer Engagement and Experience
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers, creating a welcoming and engaging counter environment
  • Lead the development and execution of in-store events and promotions that align with the brand and resonate with customers
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction

TEAM DEVELOPMENT AND COACHING

  • Recruit ,train ,and mentor team members, instilling the brand's score values and standards in all aspects of their work.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, encouraging open communication and mutual support.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support individual and team development.

SKILLS,KNOWLEDGE&EXPERIENCE

  • 2+years experience in a management role in the retail industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and coaching and developing a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to connect with diverse customers and team members
  • A passion for the beauty industry and luxury retail environments
  • Demonstrated success in driving individual and team sales targets andKPIs
  • Experience in inventory management and visual merchandising
  • Availability for a ?exible schedule ,including weekends
  • Skilled at engaging with all management levels and fostering collaborative ,positive business relationships
