Job summary

The Elizabeth School of London is seeking an Associate Lecturer/Lecturer in Business Management to teach across Foundation year and other Higher Education programmes in Manchester. The role involves training and shadowing, and collaborating to continually improve courses.

You will develop module materials and scheme of work, deliver sessions aligned to learning outcomes, and provide timely formative feedback to students.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and/or PhD in the relevant area.
• Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at HEI level.
• Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Work with Blackboard / VLEs, MS Teams / Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality teaching across Foundation year and other programs in a Higher Education setting.
• Tutor students and support progression to positive destinations.
• Contribute to development and continual improvement of courses.
• Develop module materials and Scheme of Work for modules.
• Deliver subject-specific sessions aligned with learning outcomes and syllabuses.
• Deploy assessments and provide formative feedback.
• Ensure compliance with programme specifications and awarding bodies.
• Communicate effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
