OpenMind by WPP is an integrated agency model drawing on talent from across WPP. It has been created to accelerate the European transformation for Nestl E9 A0's media function. Core to the solution is the advanced data and technology capabilities, fueled by WPP's investment in AI, to maximize the impact of Nestl E9's media investment.

ACCOUNT OVERVIEW

OpenMind was recently awarded the ZEUR assignment for Nestle Europe. With 47 countries, over 450 team members, and regular new product launches, the account is seeking a Senior Associate Director to oversee data management for the North Cluster.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

As a Senior Associate Director within the Data Management team, you will lead in developing and automating data and dashboarding solutions for Nestle. This hands-on role involves managing and delivering various client reporting projects. We seek a creative, experienced, and motivated individual to lead in developing dashboards and building cutting-edge solutions using the latest technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Onboard fully onto the OpenMind platforms & integrate with all key stakeholders.
2. Design, develop, and maintain dashboarding and cloud solutions; troubleshoot issues with GCP and Power BI.
3. Maintain and develop Nestl E9 A0's end-to-end data management process, including data governance, architecture, automation, quality, security, and reporting.
4. Represent the data and reporting needs of the UK, Ireland, and Nordics markets in global BI solutions to ensure they are fit for purpose.
5. Ensure alignment between platform data and Power BI solutions to maintain data integrity and build trust for business decisions.
6. Collaborate with the Naming Convention Lead to protect data integrity and value.
7. Deliver agency best practices in data management, cloud, and security.
8. Become a trusted point of contact at the peer level within your client team.
9. Work closely with your director to set objectives and ensure continuous progression.

YOUR KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

Essential:

• Solid experience with SQL on cloud platforms or SQL Server; preference for GCP.
• Experience with dashboarding tools (Power BI preferred); familiarity with enterprise or paginated reporting tools like SSRS or Power BI Report Builder is a strong advantage.
• Strong client-facing skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.
• Experience working with digital marketing and web analytics data.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum teams using tools like Github or Gitlab.
