Net Talent is partnering with a leading global FMCG brand based in Glasgow that’s driving innovation across markets. They are looking to expand their Data team with a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, global sales operation, reporting to the BI Manager, focusing on managing databases, delivering impactful reports, and enabling data-driven decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS and Power Platform flows to transform data into a SQL Server data warehouse.
• Supporting the BI and reporting infrastructure for performance, security, and scalability.
• Building and managing SSAS OLAP cubes for company-wide analytics.
• Designing and delivering end-to-end reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Contributing to the design, development, and administration of the SQL Server environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Automating data flows and writing code between systems.
• Designing and optimizing database structures.
• Gathering business requirements and documenting solutions.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and testing BI solutions.
• Managing code with source control systems.
• Analyzing test results and implementing improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of database and data warehousing principles.
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Knowledge of ETL design and data integration best practices.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with DAX and PowerShell.
