Job Description

The mission of the Business Intelligence function is to become the center of excellence across Service, providing trusted data and insights to our partners in a simple way. We aim to set the standard for excellence while ensuring efficiencies are optimized.

You will serve as the primary contact for partners regarding their MI and intelligence needs, advocating for the use of intelligence to improve forecasting, and delivering actionable insights.

Our data sources are extensive and varied, requiring collaboration with different product and technical teams to manage data into operations. This role offers opportunities to develop automated reporting, self-serve dashboards, and enhance forecasting accuracy, contributing to our goal of creating a main data repository.

This is a hybrid role based at the Sir John Peace Building, Nottingham, reporting to the Head of Forecast & Capacity Planning.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze key service and forecasting metrics, enhancing reports for clarity and focus
  • Communicate effectively with partners to ensure understanding and optimal use of data
  • Identify and suggest data-driven solutions to support decision-making
  • Prioritize activities for partners, challenging delivery sequences as needed
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Operations leadership team
  • Stay updated on the latest tools and technologies for a modern Operational Intelligence service
  • Adapt and evolve the OI service to meet strategic and operational needs, ensuring relevance and usability
  • Improve internal processes and manage expectations during change implementation
Qualifications
  • Experience analyzing large, diverse data sets
  • Proven ability to develop sustainable, automated BI/OL solutions
  • Hands-on experience with data ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, SSIS), visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of data warehousing principles and DBA practices
  • Understanding of forecasting principles and call center metrics
  • Partner management experience
