Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support BI transformation, delivering reporting solutions using T-SQL, Power BI and SSRS. You will join a supportive BI team, work 37.5 hours per week with flexible/home working and potential travel across Norfolk and Suffolk, based from Ipswich or Norwich.

A degree with data analysis experience is required and NHS experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent which includes data analysis/presentation, data manipulation, computing or numeric subject with experience and equivalent knowledge of information systems and data analysis
• SQL Server qualification and/or experience or equivalent knowledge of a comparable query language (T-SQL)

Responsibilities

• Develop clear, informative reporting solutions using T-SQL, Power BI and SSRS
• Support BI transformation and growing demand for data and analytics within the Trust
• Travel across Norfolk and Suffolk as required and collaborate with the BI team

Business Intelligence Analyst

With the ongoing modernisation of Business Intelligence at the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, we are looking to enhance the services that we can offer as a Business Intelligence Team and support the growing demand for data and analytics within the Trust.

Main duties of the job

This is a full-time post (37.5 hours) offering Flexible / Home Working with a base of either Ipswich or Norwich. There will be a requirement to travel across Norfolk and Suffolk on occasion.

Qualifications

• SQL Server qualification and/or experience or qualification and/or experience in a comparable query language (TSQL)

Experience

• Experience of data analysis and information presentation such as report design and use of graphics
• Experience of Information and commissioning environment within the NHS and/or Mental Health.
