Job summary

Solihull College & University Centre is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Management Information Systems team, supporting data-driven decision making across the college.

You will design, develop and maintain data models, reports, dashboards and visualisations using SQL Server technologies and BI tools such as Power BI, translating reporting requirements into effective solutions for operational and strategic priorities. Closing Date: Sunday 27 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering BI solutions using SQL Server & Power BI.
• Ability to translate reporting requirements into actionable BI solutions.
• Higher IT qualification or significant work experience in BI.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Management Information Systems (MIS) team. This is a key role supporting data‑driven decision making across Solihull College & University Centre.

You will design, develop and maintain high‑quality data models, reports, dashboards and visualisations using SQL Server technologies and business intelligence tools such as Power BI. Working closely with stakeholders across the College, you will translate reporting requirements into effective BI solutions that support both operational and strategic priorities.

Applicants should hold a high-level IT qualification – BSC/HND/HNC or have relevant work experience.
