Job summary

Insync Insurance in Poole is looking to appoint an Insurance Advisor to support business growth. The role focuses on renewing existing policies, providing new quotations for growing businesses, and handling customer enquiries, with ongoing training and development to progress your career.

You will support with delivering high standards of service, build relationships with clients and insurers, and contribute to a proactive, customer-focused team that values integrity and results.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service and/or sales.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear and appropriate advice to business clients on suitable levels of insurance cover based on individual needs
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to achieve renewal and retention targets
• Negotiate terms and quotations for MTAs, cancellations, and renewal business in a timely and efficient manner
• Identify and recommend relevant additional products aligned to clients’ needs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and underwriters, with a clear understanding of appetites, classes, and niche sectors
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company procedures
• Consistently prioritise the fair treatment of customers, actively applying the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Consumer Duty in all business activities
