Business Excellence Lead

Location: Leicester or Lichfield (Hybrid with UK travel)

Package: Up to £40,000 plus car options and genuine development opportunities with a Private Equity backed Group.

Impact of the Role

Reporting to our Group Integration Director, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying improvement opportunities through data analytics and stakeholder engagement.
• Delivering measurable improvements in productivity, customer outcomes and profitability.
• Embedding sustainable improvements that become standard ways of working.
• Accelerating business performance through data, digital technologies and AI.

• Deliver improvements iteratively, focusing on early value.
• Build trusted relationships while constructively challenging existing ways of working.

Knowledge & Experience

• Experience or academic exposure to Business Improvement, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence.
• Ability to influence and engage colleagues across multiple business functions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI desirable.

Desirable

• Recognised project management qualifications including Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement tools.
• Experience implementing CRM, ERP or operational systems.

Travel

• Regular travel to Group companies and operational sites across the UK is expected, with occasional overnight stays.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
