Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a Business Engagement Manager to help tell the story of how we transform the customer experience. You will connect transformation programmes with colleagues, translate project and technology information into clear messages, and explain why changes matter for customers and staff.

• Experience with digital transformation initiatives is a plus.

We’re looking for a Business Engagement Manager to help tell the story of how Sunbelt Rentals is transforming the customer experience.

You’ll help connect our transformation programmes with the colleagues who will bring them to life - turning project and technology information into clear, relevant and engaging communications.

As our use of AI, connected data and digital technology develops, you’ll help colleagues understand not just what is changing, but why it matters for our customers and for them.

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding upcoming changes and the people affected by them.
• Helping create engagement and communication plans.
• Turning detailed project information into simple, compelling colleague messages.
• Working closely with Internal Communications.
• Producing briefings, FAQs, presentations and supporting content.
• Organising workshops, roadshows, webinars, demonstrations and drop-in sessions.
• Building relationships across frontline and operational teams.
• Listening to colleague questions, concerns and ideas.
• Supporting local change champions.
• Helping colleagues understand what new technology and processes mean in practice.
• Gathering feedback before and after implementation.
• Helping identify where further communication or engagement is needed.

To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill‑set and behaviours:

• Experience within an engagement, communications, change, transformation or a related environment.
• Strong communicator who can take complicated information and make it feel simple and relevant.
• You’ll enjoy getting out into the business, talking to colleagues and understanding what really matters to them.
• Experience with digital transformation, Salesforce, customer operations or AI would be useful but isn’t essential.
• Understanding of effective communication
