Job description

Ogilvy UK has been creating iconic ideas that deliver impact at scale for clients ever since David Ogilvy founded the company in 1948. Ogilvy UK specialises in bringing together brand advertising, customer experience marketing, PR, influence, and consulting, all fuelled by Behavioural Science. Our world-class, award-winning creative campaigns deliver solutions for clients including Sainsbury’s, Argos, Mondelēz International, Unilever, TK Maxx, and Pernod Ricard.

In 2023, Ogilvy UK celebrated their 75th anniversary and was the most awarded agency in Europe. Ogilvy is home to the largest influencer marketing practice globally and hosts the world’s biggest festival of behavioural science and creativity, Nudgestock—now in its 12th year.

The Role:
  1. You’ll join a digital, social, and CX-focused team to consolidate and grow the account.
  2. This role requires a strategic, positive person who will build strong partnerships with their client to continually improve the customer’s experience of the brand.
  3. Our clients invite expertise and challenge, so you will need to have the experience, gravitas, and confidence to hold your own in strategic conversations as well as the ability to inspire, spot, and help push creative genius.
  4. You will report to the Managing Partner and have line management responsibility for an Account Manager and an Account Executive.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Partnering with the strategy lead to set the direction of growth for the client areas you’ll lead.
  2. Working with your Ogilvy strategic partners to find distinct, unexpected, and useful insights to drive more impact with customers.
  3. Partnering with creative leads to drive up the quality of the creative output and enable us to sell the best work.
  4. Create an optimal and unbreakable relationship with your senior clients, giving them the confidence to try new things and having the tough conversations when required.
Experience, Skillset, and Qualifications:
  1. You’ll have 9+ years’ experience within CX and the direct response space, including social & digital advertising.
  2. You’ll be a strong relationship builder, knowing how to make friends and influence people internally and with clients.
  3. You will be charismatic with an energy that’s infectious and inspires people to do their best.
  4. You will be a confident, impact-driven strategic thinker who is more than comfortable sharing a strategic point of view.
  5. You will recognize great creative thinking and know how to push an idea to be better.
  6. You know how to execute with customer-first thinking.
  7. You know how to have fun and how to build a culture that is happy to work hard in an enjoyable environment.

If you're an experienced and creative individual with a passion for driving results and fostering diversity, we'd love to hear from you. Join our team and help us take our agency to the next level!
