Job Description:

Title: Business Development Specialist

Location: London

Hybrid: 4 days in office/1 from home

Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for business development to join the dynamic team of our global law firm client as a BD Specialist. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager and firm lawyers in London, Brussels, and Madrid to drive the business development initiatives across Europe in our client’s restructuring practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare pitches, RFIs, and RFPs, including research and coordinating materials.
  2. Track press and market developments.
  3. Support special projects, including overseas business trips and client events.
  4. Coordinate and draft submissions for legal directories and industry awards.
  5. Create and manage marketing materials and presentations.
  6. Maintain databases and credentials lists.
  7. Assist with research on prospective targets and market intelligence.
  8. Identify and support speaking and sponsorship opportunities.
  9. Plan and execute events in our offices and global locations.
  10. Collaborate with New York teams to ensure brand consistency and seamless support.

Qualifications:

  1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  2. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  3. Related experience in business development and marketing (law firm background preferred).
