Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and convert leads into sales.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in procurement and supply chain services.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and industry associations.
  • Proposal Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within procurement and supply chain services.
  • Skills:
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
    • Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes and solutions.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans.
    • Proficiency in use of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
