Business Development Representative (EMEA)

We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team and drive new business opportunities across the EMEA region. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. Ideal candidates are proactive communicators who are passionate about technology, enterprise sales, and building meaningful relationships in the telecoms sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage potential customers through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other outreach methods.
  • Conduct in-depth background research on telecoms operators and key stakeholders within the EMEA region.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, priorities, and pain points.
  • Schedule and coordinate sales meetings and product demos for the account executives.
  • Prepare pre- and post-meeting reports to provide the sales team with context, key insights, and recommended next steps.
  • Accurately track and maintain records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to fine-tune messaging and improve outreach strategies.
  • Consistently meet or exceed lead generation and appointment-setting targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and developments in the telecoms space.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in or exposure to the telecommunications industry is highly desirable.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in enterprise technology or SaaS sales into the telecoms vertical.
  • Understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) is essential.
  • Multilingual abilities are a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Resilient, positive attitude with the ability to handle rejection professionally.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and highly target-driven.
