Sway Me Good in St Albans is seeking a high‑energy sales advocate to phone brands and turn conversations into qualified meetings. This role focuses on food, drink and CPG brands, with three days in the office and two days flexible working.
You’ll start by cold calling, then move toward closing deals with support for uncapped commission. We value determination over years of experience and emphasize effort, resilience, and the belief that consistent outreach converts.
We run creator campaigns for food, drink and CPG brands, and this role has one job: getting brands on the phone and turning those conversations into qualified meetings.
That's genuinely it. Not lead gen admin with some calling attached, not five priorities at once. You'll get very good at one hard thing, and then you'll move on to closing.
Worth saying early, because it changes who should apply. We are not screening on years of experience or on whether you've used a particular tool, and your CV isn't the first thing we'll look at.
Cold calling is a skill and skills can be taught. What can't be taught is the energy to pick the phone up again after the last four people weren't interested, and the belief that the fifth one will be. If you've got that, we can do the rest.
Being honest about where we are. Everything commercial here has been built by one person, from the first cold call through to the CRM behind it. It works, brands come back for second and third campaigns, and some of the results are genuinely good. The problem is a nice one, which is that the list of brands we should be speaking to is now much longer than one person can work through in a week.
Every call is recorded and we listen back together, weekly, from your first week. That's not a performance management thing, it's the fastest way to get good.
Energy to go full speed on the phone. The day is dials, and the fifth hour has to sound like the first. This is the part most people underestimate.
The belief that if you can get someone talking, you can earn the meeting. Not talk them into anything they don't need, but genuinely believe you can make two minutes worth their while.
Positive, cheerful, and you keep pushing. Most of this job is rejection. The mood you bring to the call is a real part of what we're selling, and it can't be manufactured at 4pm on a Thursday.
Ambitious about earning and career progression. We want someone who's here because they want to earn well and want to be running their own deals, and who isn't shy about saying so. That ambition is the engine of the whole thing.
A doer. Given a challenge, you look at it as a puzzle to solve rather than a wall you've hit. Gatekeeper won't put you through, the brand's gone quiet since spring, the number's wrong. All puzzles.
You believe effort turns into reward. Because here it does, and the commission structure is built on exactly that assumption.
Three days a week in our St Albans office. You'll need the right to work in the UK, as we're not able to sponsor visas.
