Job Description:

We are seeking a self-driven, polished individual enthusiastic about contributing to the success of our rapidly growing company. The primary responsibility of the BDR is securing appointments for apexanalytix sales representatives and supporting them to convert opportunities to closure. The BDR will also prospect and generate leads to introduce apexanalytix’s services and product suite to decision makers at prospect companies, gathering information on potential software and service needs. Most leads are generated from cold calls, so we seek a go-getter, persistent in connecting with prospective clients. The compensation rewards the BDR for achieving sales appointment and closure goals. Appointments are generated from cold calls, marketing campaigns, and industry event follow-up. The BDR will work with and update a contact and CRM database. This is a remote role based in the UK, requiring fluency in German.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting cold calls to potential clients to gather contact information and set appointments for sales VPs.
  • Following up on marketing campaigns.
  • Creating targeted campaigns and working with marketing to convert prospects to customers.
  • Using social networking sites, business directories, and web searches to prospect new leads.
  • Responding to inquiries from the 800 number and website.
  • Researching target accounts and maintaining a knowledge base of relevant information.
  • Collaborating with Sales Executives to close accounts.
  • Promoting attendance at conferences and events.
  • Maintaining accurate database records of leads, contacts, and opportunities.

Position Requirements:

  • Knowledge of basic sales principles and methods.
  • Understanding of apexanalytix’s value proposition and industry.
  • Knowledge of marketing and proposing services to prospects.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of sales or business experience preferred, especially in technology sales targeting Accounts Payable or similar roles.
  • Experience with executive appointment setting is a plus.

Skills and Characteristics:

  • Fluency in German (written and verbal).
  • Ability to identify decision-makers and communicate solutions effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Resilience to rejection and frustration.

Software Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Persistent and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently with a self-starter mindset.
