Business Development & Partnerships Manager, Ruuby

Ruuby, the leading on-demand beauty services platform, is on the lookout for an experienced Business Development Associate to spearhead our sales initiatives and partnerships. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep industry relationships to scale Ruuby’s presence across hospitality, fashion, and beauty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation : Build and maintain new business opportunities in the hospitality and branded sectors through industry contacts and strategic outreach, creating a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Sales and Closing : Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure, showcasing Ruuby’s value proposition to potential clients and effectively negotiating terms to secure new partnerships
  • Sales Enablement : Develop tailored proposals and enablement materials that address the specific needs of each client, ensuring a high rate of conversion and client satisfaction while keeping your pipeline & CRM up to date.
  • Market Analysis : Continuously monitor the beauty, hospitality, and corporate wellness industries for trends and opportunities, leveraging insights to refine and adapt your strategy
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Ruuby’s marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients and to align on broader company initiatives
Who you are
  • Deep industry knowledge : You have deep industry relationships across beauty, wellness and hospitality with 2+ years of experience in the hospitality OR luxury retail and beauty industries.
  • Commercially savvy : You’ll be responsible for hunting your own leads and leading commercial negotiations to get deals done. You’ll have 3-5 years experience in B2B sales, ideally in the beauty and wellness space. You have acute attention to detail and a track record of hitting sales targets.
