Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a Business Development Manager / Territory Manager in Life Sciences on a hybrid basis (3 days in office, 2 days at home). The role covers UK and global markets, reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.

Salary indication £40,000 - £65,000 (negotiable) plus commission, with generous benefits and a clear path to senior leadership as the business grows. You will identify opportunities, build strategic customer relationships, and drive revenue across life

Qualifications

  • Degree in Life Science discipline.
  • Experience selling into research, biotechnology, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical markets.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop new business opportunities from concept through to close.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial approach.

  • Develop new business opportunities across academia, biotechnology, diagnostics, and pharmaceutical sectors.

Business Development Manager / Territory manager - Life Sciences
Location: Hybrid (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)
Territory: UK & Global Markets
Reporting To: Senior Leadership Team
Salary indication £40,000 - £65,000 (negotiable dependent on experience) + commission

Our client is currently building a next generation oncology innovation platform combining sustainable medicinal chemistry, specialist reagents, advanced drug delivery technologies and translational oncology research. Initially the successful candidate will focus on growing their expanding portfolio of molecular biology reagents, enzymes and research products. As they continue to evolve the role will expand into supporting commercial growth across our oncology discovery platform including specialist compounds, analogue libraries, formulation technologies and collaborative research.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across a portfolio of life science products and solutions. You'll work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in influencing future commercial strategy.

Working Pattern

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Hybrid Working

  • Monday & Friday: Working from home
  • Tuesday to Thursday: Office based
Travel Requirements
  • UK-focused role with international opportunities
  • Typically 3-5 days of travel per month
  • Opportunity to attend customer meetings, conferences, and industry events across the UK and overseas
