Role: Business Development Manager/Director
Location: Home-based with travel to customer/office sites when required
Job Type: Permanent
- The successful candidate will join Nasstar’s ICC Business Division Sales team focused on new business and be responsible for the growth of new logos in the organization.
- The role requires a confident, experienced, and self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and collaborate with Marketing, Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams to identify new opportunities and manage engagements to closure across different organizational levels.
- Central to the role is creating compelling sales solutions based on a good understanding of customer needs and how Nasstar can provide solutions that address both technical and business challenges. Flexibility in working from home and travel is essential.
- Strong internal and client relationships are vital. The candidate must demonstrate maturity and commercial acumen. Communication and documentation should be authoritative, precise, and credible. The candidate should be flexible and responsive while maintaining focus on scope and Nasstar’s interests.
- The candidate should have the confidence and experience to advise clients on solutions provided by the Nasstar ICC Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Marketing, Fortinet, and Cisco to uncover new leads and opportunities.
- Collaborate with other Business Units to drive ICC opportunities across Nasstar’s account base.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for NRR and MRR by closing new logos.
- Coordinate with Pre-Sales to ensure high-quality, professional proposals.
- Keep forecasting and reporting updated in CRM, accurately reflecting pipeline activities and deal progress.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and product developments to maintain a competitive edge.
- Research prospects thoroughly and tailor sales pitches and proposals to their specific needs.
- Partner effectively with vendors, demonstrating a good understanding of vendor relationships.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience selling Professional & Managed Services Solutions into new customers.
- Knowledge of products such as Cyber Security, Fortinet SD WAN & SASE, Cisco, and Network Security Solutions, along with supporting partner ecosystems.
- Experience in building relationships within vendors (e.g., Fortinet) and working with Managed Services.
