Job description

This rapidly growing specialist manufacturing business is committed to delivering high-quality products and services to its well-established client base.

The Sales Director is looking to attract a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth strategy. The main focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, enhancing sales operations, and building strong relationships with key accounts.

Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, partnerships, and products/services.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to reach new business opportunities.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and developing tailored proposals.
  4. Pitch sales and products effectively to both new and existing clients.
  5. Attend conferences and events to network with industry partners and stay updated on market trends.
  6. Create and work towards achieving sales forecasts.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience in business development within manufacturing, ideally plastics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A passion for sustainability.
  • Ability to travel and spend at least three days a week out with customers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
