Business Development Manager (Solar/ VO) – Exeter (Hybrid), Permanent, Full-time, £50k - £60k basic - OTE £150k

A leading player in the commercial solar and VO industry is seeking a driven Business Development Manager with experience in B2B sales. The role offers an exciting opportunity to expand the client base, drive sales, and collaborate within a high-energy, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the sales team and leadership to achieve set targets.

Generate new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and digital platforms.

Keep track of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

Host initial discovery and follow-up meetings with potential clients.

Build lasting relationships with clients, ensuring a smooth sales process.

Stay current with the latest industry trends and competitor insights.

Essential Skills

Demonstrable experience in Business Development within the Commercial PV sector.

In-depth knowledge of Solar PV, VO, and PPA.

Sales target driven.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with CRM systems (Hubspot ).

To achieve a higher basic salary you will need to demonstrate your ability to meet the key criteria of the role by past experience and during the interview process.
