Location: London for 6 - 9 months for onboarding and visa application before a supported relocation to Melbourne/Hybrid.

After a record-breaking 2024, our Melbourne-based team is growing and seeking an experienced Business Development professional.

** Please note, business development experience within Recruitment/Staffing is essential for this role **

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead our business development efforts, focusing on driving sales and expanding our regional footprint.
  • Identify new client opportunities for Permanent, Contract/Freelance, and SOW staffing.
  • Seek new business through various channels, aligning with market trends and Planet Pharma’s sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with our Recruitment Delivery team to meet client hiring needs.
  • Proactively promote Planet Pharma to secure new clients and assignments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to fulfill client needs.
  • Negotiate deals and propose contracts.
  • Act as the primary contact point between clients and internal departments to drive opportunities and keep clients informed.
  • Some travel will be required to visit clients and our Melbourne office.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Proven success in business development within Recruitment Solutions in the Life Science/Pharma industry.

Strategic, proactive approach with experience in building divisions or desks.

Previous experience in a 360 or business development role within recruitment.

Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
